That's how it started...
I remember my dear friends with whom I composed and played non-conventional underground music from the 80's... a little before I joined the Hare Krishna movement. Together we heard and discussed a lot about the 'other side'... One of my friends, passed me one small book about Krishna, which opened a new page in my life (for which he was a bit a sorry because it marked the end of my participation in the band...but that's another story).
I met them 15 years later; they were still into the "groove"...Tony—that was my friend’s name—invited us to his newly opened studio and we played and improvised "prim a vista" as before...as if we had never separated...that was "The Dead line". Tony Morison, Elmo, myself...Pandava, another rabble, my god brother and an amazing musician (the founder of the famous punk band "Shame and Disgrace") just came straight in and sat behind the drums. Tony suggested to me that if we had some new ideas we could freely record in his new studio.
And so we did it.
All the sound tracks from ‘Sri Radhe’ and 'Is there any chance for us…' were recorded, mixed and mastered in Tony’s studio—"The Hole" personally by him. Tony plays this fabulous base in all the songs... Elmo, as always, was too shy... but still he contributed one guitar solo for "Radhe-Shyam." Pandava of course plays all the drums & percussion, and provides backing vocals to the ballads.
The rest was generously left for me.
